5 Days Safari to Lake Mburo, Queen Elizabeth National Parks

Day 1: Drive To Lake Mburo National Park
Have breakfast to drive off along Masaka road to Lake Mburo National park. Lake Mburo is one of the smallest Savannah parks with plenty of antelopes including the impala from which the name of the capital city of Uganda -Kampala- was derived. You will reach in the afternoon to have lunch and then in the afternoon go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo. This ride will reward you with view of animals and birds at the shores. Dinner and overnight at Mantana Tented Camp. / Rwonyo camp.

Day 2: Lake Mburo Game Drive & Queen Elizabeth National Park Transfer
In the morning go for game drive in Lake Mburo to search for more game in the park. Later after the game drive you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park. The park is known to have variety of habitats which justify the diversity of faunas, avifauna and flora the park harbours. It is a habitat to over 600 bird species making it a birders paradise. You will reach the park in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Institute of Ecology.



Day 3: Queen Elizabeth Game Drive Safari, Kazinga Channel Launch Cruise
In the morning have a cup of coffee to go for an early morning game drive to catch up with the early riser and predators returning to their concealled outs. Expect animals like Elephants, leopards, jackals, Uganda kob, bush pigs, bushbucks, not forgetting the King of the Jungle-The Lion- and others. Retire from the game drive for late breakfast and lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon you will go for a boat ride (launch cruise) on the Kazinga channel that connects Lakes Edward and George. The boat cruise will reward you with game like hippos, buffaloes, hippos, and plenty of waterbirds. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Institute of ecology.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth Kyambura Gorge Chimpanzee Primate Tracking Tour
Have breakfast to transfer to the Kyambura Gorge to track or trek for chimpanzees. You will also be able to see or watch other primates like the colobus monkey, Mangabeys and others. After you will transfer to the Maramagambo forest where you will have a picnic lunch and have forest walk. This will reward you with other primates other than chimpanzees , reptiles like pythons, and monitor lizards. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 5: Drive Back To Kampala
Following breakfast we shall drive back to Kampala. Have a stop at the equator for photographs and crafts to reach Kampala in the evening.
